In a testament to the pursuit of innovation and quality education, the Chairman of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Dr. J. Prospero “Popoy” E. De Vera III, along with his team, embarked on a visit to Central Philippine University (CPU) last April 25, 2024.

首先，菲律賓高教委團(tuán)隊(duì)對(duì)中部菲律賓大學(xué)校長(zhǎng)Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy進(jìn)行了禮節(jié)性拜訪(fǎng)。在中部菲律賓大學(xué)行政人員和董事會(huì)成員的陪同下，訪(fǎng)問(wèn)團(tuán)就教育發(fā)展和合作機(jī)會(huì)進(jìn)行深度探討。

The visit commenced with a formal courtesy call to CPU President, Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy, at the Office of the President. Accompanied by CPU Administrators and the Board of Trustees, the delegation engaged in fruitful discussions on educational advancements and collaborative opportunities.

拜訪(fǎng)后，訪(fǎng)問(wèn)團(tuán)繼續(xù)考察了中部菲律賓大學(xué)的產(chǎn)品開(kāi)發(fā)與研究中心，特別是位于中部菲律賓大學(xué)農(nóng)業(yè)、資源與環(huán)境科學(xué)學(xué)院（CARES）內(nèi)的菲律賓養(yǎng)殖研究所。這一舉措彰顯了中部菲律賓大學(xué)對(duì)農(nóng)業(yè)研究和可持續(xù)發(fā)展的實(shí)踐追求。

Following the courtesy call, the delegation proceeded to explore the University Research Center for Product Development, specifically the Philippine Native Chicken Research Station housed within the CPU College of Agriculture, Resources, and Environmental Sciences (CARES). This initiative underscores CPU’s dedication to agricultural research and sustainable practices.

The delegation visited the Philippine Center for Packaging?Engineering and Technology (PC-PET).

訪(fǎng)問(wèn)團(tuán)繼續(xù)參觀(guān)了菲律賓包裝工程與技術(shù)中心（PC-PET），參與包裝工程理學(xué)士課程的講座。值得注意的是，該專(zhuān)業(yè)隸屬于中部菲律賓大學(xué)的工程學(xué)院，是菲律賓第一個(gè)也是唯一一個(gè)開(kāi)創(chuàng)該專(zhuān)業(yè)的大學(xué)，這體現(xiàn)了中部菲律賓大學(xué)在學(xué)術(shù)領(lǐng)域上的開(kāi)拓精神。

Continuing their tour, the delegation visited the Philippine Center for Packaging Engineering and Technology (PC-PET), where they were introduced to the Bachelor of Science in Packaging Engineering program. Remarkably, this program, offered under the CPU College of Engineering, stands as the first and only of its kind in the Philippines, reflecting CPU’s pioneering spirit in academic offerings.

為進(jìn)一步彰顯中部菲律賓大學(xué)追求卓越的精神，訪(fǎng)問(wèn)團(tuán)繼續(xù)參觀(guān)了中部菲律賓大學(xué)的護(hù)理學(xué)院和最先進(jìn)的虛擬仿真實(shí)驗(yàn)室，該學(xué)院為菲律賓第一所護(hù)理學(xué)院，展示了中部菲律賓大學(xué)對(duì)護(hù)理學(xué)院教育和技術(shù)上的投入。

Further highlighting CPU’s commitment to excellence, the delegation toured the CPU College of Nursing, renowned as the first Nursing School in the Philippines. They were given an exclusive look into the State-of-the-Art Virtual Simulation Laboratories, showcasing CPU’s investment in cutting-edge technology to enhance nursing education.

最后，校方對(duì)菲律賓高教委的這次訪(fǎng)問(wèn)表示感謝，并強(qiáng)調(diào)了此次活動(dòng)的重要意義，即重申了中部菲律賓大學(xué)致力于提供優(yōu)質(zhì)教育和營(yíng)造有利于學(xué)習(xí)的環(huán)境。
